If you want to contact us to discuss how to stay in touch with a patient, or stay up-to-date with a patient's condition, please see our page on contacting a patient.

Getting in touch with us

Patients can speak to ward staff at any time if they have any questions or concerns. If you're a patient and don't feel like you're receiving the information or care you need, please ask to speak to the nurse in charge or matron.

Patient Advice and Liaison Service

If you're a patient and would rather not speak to ward staff about your concerns, or if you're a friend or relative of a patient at Nightingale Hospital Birmingham and have a question or concern relating to their care, you can contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).

The PALS team is based at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB), which leads Nightingale Hospital Birmingham, and works independently of the care teams. PALS staff are trained in helping to deal with all types of patient queries and are available between 09:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday.

You can contact PALS by phone, by email or by secure contact form.

Please note, email is not a guaranteed secure method of communication. Personal or sensitive information is sent by email at the sender's own risk.
